Francisco Vera is an entrepreneur and administrator of multinational groups with more than 25 years of experience supporting the management of corporate growth processes through mergers and divestments in large companies. He is renowned for his work as a corporate lawyer, having led restructuring and insolvency procedures in more than 60 countries, and has a strong entrepreneurial spirit, creating business groups throughout his career in Spain and Brazil.

Origins and Career

Francisco Vera was born in Barcelona in 1969 and years later moved with his family to Barbastro, Huesca, where he received training at Colegio San José de Calasanz Escolapios, an institution with more than 300 years of history, completing secondary school at Colegio Seminario Diocesano de la Inmaculada. From this unique region and its surroundings, he learned the importance of hard work, the value of humility and the worth of perseverance as the driving force of life.

In 1996, he completed his Bachelor of Laws from the University of Barcelona, deciding to complete his training in Business Law at Muskegon Community College in Michigan, USA. After graduating, he participated in prestigious management programmes such as “New Technology Law” at ESADE Business School in Barcelona, as well as the General Management Programme at IESE Business School in 2010.

Between 2013 and 2017, he decided to expand his international training by completing a Programme in Corporate Finance at the LONDON BUSINESS SCHOOL. It was at this renowned British institution that he decided to undertake further training and, in 2018, he obtained the diploma in “Strategy for Value Creation”, finishing his studies in 2022 with a SEP (Senior Executive Programme), designed for the training of international leaders with an average of 20 years of business experience.

Trajectory

From a very young age, he was very entrepreneuring and, shortly after graduating in law, he decided to found the firm DATA CONCURSAL. Providing experience, innovation and excellence were the leitmotif of this company specialising in bankruptcy proceedings involving large companies.

In 2013, he founded MAECENAS CAPITAL, now ALBIDANIA PRIVATE EQUITY, investing in the purchase of FAGOR GRUPO MUEBLE and DANONA. Years later, ADSON BRASIL was created under the tagline “Rethink in Business”, a consultancy firm specialising in business management, strategy, financial management outsourcing and corporate restructuring.

In 2021, he founded GRUPO ARIDAN, a group of Brazilian companies specialising in the construction and maintenance of large infrastructures together with a group of collaborating experts and the recently consolidated PARATTI, a car park company and HOM_hubofmobility, a platform for services and business solutions in the mobility sector.

He currently splits his time between Europe and LATAM. He has a son named Albert and has been married to Brazilian entrepreneur Ariana Vera Machado since 2021.

His experience in undertaking and addressing complex corporate processes has allowed him to formulate a comprehensive approach to organisations, as well as recognise the richness of multidisciplinary teams, which, although comprised of members from different countries, work together as a single unit.
